Best Rideshare Apps For Uber Drivers (Makes Your Job Easier)

There are a lot of apps out there claiming to help rideshare drivers and today, senior RSG contributor Christian Perea covers the top driver apps that will make your job driving easier (and perhaps more profitable). If you’re instead looking for a list of the best rideshare and delivery services to drive for, click here to see the top 5 gig economy and on demand jobs you can join (and possibly get a sign up bonus!).

Rideshare Apps for Uber Drivers: Which Ones are the Best?

There are a lot of companies building apps to help drivers, but today we’re going to focus on the category of driver assistance apps. We’ve already covered mileage tracking apps extensively, but driver assistance apps are a new term we just coined and they are apps that make driving easier for drivers or allow drivers to earn more money. Most of them have a monthly or yearly fee, and there are some pretty unique ideas out there, but at the end of the list I included my opinion on the best rideshare apps out there.

Use the Mystro App to Drive Easier and Make More Money

Can Mystro really help drivers earn more money? We had RSG contributor Jay Cradeur test out the Mystro app for a week to see what he thought of the app, how it helps drivers, and in what situations it’s best to use Mystro. Let us know what you think of Mystro and/or Jay’s assessment in the comments.

Mystro App Review

I have always been curious about the Mystro app.  At $11.95 per month, it is a small investment that promises to make your driving experience simpler and smoother.  Given that Mystro claims a 30% increase in revenue with the use of their app, that converts to roughly $20,000 above my current revenue level.  That is a very bold claim.

However, since the app is currently not available on iPhones, I have never considered it to be something that I needed in order to conduct my rideshare driving business.  Incorporating Mystro into my daily routine would entail securing a second phone, an Android, which is an additional expense on top of the $11.95 per month.

However, the folks at Mystro sent me a Moto Android phone so that I could try it out and share my thoughts. I share this with you so you know this is a straight up review.

Mystro Review: Get More Trips and Drive Safer!

Most regular jobs would never allow you to work for a competitor, but one of the best parts about being an independent contractor for Uber or Lyft is that you can and should drive for multiple companies.  We know that close to 2/3 of all drivers are working for at least two on-demand services, so this isn’t exactly a secret, but it hasn’t always been that easy to actually do this out on the road.  That’s all changed though because of a new app called Mystro.

I first heard about Mystro a few months ago and have been addicted to it ever since.  According to their website, ‘Mystro is an app that makes on-demand drivers more money by allowing them to safely and easily drive for multiple on-demand platforms and never miss a trip they want.’  It’s a pretty simple idea, but it also solves a pain-point that drivers have had for a long time!

Savvy drivers know that when demand is slow, it pays to go online with both Uber and Lyft in order to increase your chances of getting a request. But this process can be burdensome since you’ll have to physically go online with the first app, then go online with the second app and once you get a request, you have to accept it and then log off the other app before you get a new trip.  And sometimes you get another request before you can log off the second app. Huge hassle! Luckily, Mystro does all of this automatically for you.

Mystro recently came out of beta and is available for Android only at the moment. If you’d like to sign up using our affiliate link, please click here.  Otherwise, read on for more info about how it all works!

As drivers, we all want to get more trips yet still drive safely. Now, there's an app that helps us do both! Check out our Mystro review here -
