What is Marijuana Delivery?
It’s just what it sounds like. Instead of getting your groceries, fast food or alcohol delivered, you have marijuana delivered to your home.
Simply go online or use an app to pick out what weed products you want, add them to your cart, choose your delivery options (if choices are available) and check out. Next thing you know, you’ll be getting a knock on the door to drop off your marijuana order.
Keep in mind, much like alcohol, you will need to show your ID to prove you’re of age to receive these services.
US States That Offer Weed Delivery Services
In the United States, not every state has legalized marijuana. So, before starting the process of finding the best weed delivery in your area, make sure you live in a state where it is legal.
At the writing of this article, 14 US states offer marijuana delivery services:
- Alaska
- Arizona
- California
- Colorado
- Maine
- Maryland
- Massachusetts
- Nevada
- New Mexico
- New York
- Oregon
- Rhode Island
- Vermont
- Washington
To learn more about each state’s delivery options, read this State-by-State Guide to Marijuana Delivery Services by the Leafbuyer Writing Team.
Other states that have legalized marijuana may not have delivery services yet, but keep an eye on them. They include:
- Illinois
- Michigan
- Montana
- New Jersey
Please keep in mind, for all other states not on this list, it either remains illegal or has been decriminalized, but not legalized.
Which Companies Deliver Weed?
Let’s take a look at different weed delivery options that are available right now. Keep an eye on what area these all deliver in. They will not necessarily be available in all legal states.
Amuse
Amuse is a California-based weed delivery app. They deliver in and around the Los Angeles area, but to know for certain if they deliver to your area, type in your address and they will let you know if they can deliver to you.
It’s geared toward recreational cannabis users and allows for easy online shopping and delivery to your door. The biggest downside is that it’s only available in certain parts of California.
Kushfly
Kushfly has on-demand delivery, next-day delivery in Southern California, and 5-7 day CBD delivery across the US. Their delivery fees vary based on location and cost of your order.
They boast a simple, efficient and discreet delivery so no one needs to know you’re ordering weed. Kushfly has over 200 products and they range from flowers to edibles to CBD and all things in between.
Currently, Kushfly features a new customer special where you can get 10% off your order over $50 or 20% off orders over $100 and a free first-time customer gift pack.
Leafly
On the Leafly homepage, they state upfront that they are “The place for weed.” The Leafly website lets you find and shop dispensaries near you. Basically, it’s used as a weed finder app. You can locate where you can buy weed, not buy it directly from the Leafly website or app.
It even helps you find medical marijuana in states where only medical is legal with a prescription.
PotBot
In order to do anything on PotBot, you have to sign up/log in. When signing up, you’ll answer questions about your age, weight, cannabis use and the condition(s) you’ll be treating with marijuana.
Note: PotBot is app-only and is available in the Apple store and Google Play store.
From there, it creates a profile for you that includes what types of cannabis you should consider based on your answers. Along with the recommendations, they give a breakdown of what each element of the cannabis product does for your condition(s).
Next, they recommend strains of cannabis to choose from. It includes information like potency, origins, strain name and type. Then it composes the type of consumption methods available for the strains such as vaporizing, sprays, tinctures, edibles, etc.
Finally, it shows you nearby dispensaries that carry the strains they recommend and find doctors for if you need a prescription.
Overall, it’s a great informative app and can help you narrow down what you want and/or what you need.
What is the Best Weed Delivery Service?
We’ve talked about a few weed delivery services as well as websites and apps that help you find dispensaries and help you find the strains that can help you with any medical conditions you may have.
But what is the best weed delivery service out there? In our opinion, it’s Eaze. With Eaze, you can order what you want and have it delivered if you live in the Bay Area, Sacramento, Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Diego County, San Bernardino/Inland Empire and more.
For all locations, check out their list of cities and hours.
Eaze has a wide variety of products you can choose from and they also have information on storage and care for all the types of products they carry so you can keep your cannabis fresher longer.
Eaze Cannabis Delivery
Another great thing about Eaze is that they have job opportunities for delivery drivers. Check out driver opportunities on their app.
Before you can apply, you do need to sign up as a customer to create an account. There’s no obligation to purchase any products. It’s just part of the way their system is set up.
There are a few steps involved in the sign-up process. This is due to all of the federal, state and local regulations surrounding marijuana delivery and usage, and the number of steps may vary depending on where you live.

If positions are available, you’ll hear back from them if they are interested. It’s not exactly the same as delivery apps you can work for like DoorDash or Grubhub. With Eaze, you will go through an interview process.
With Eaze, you’re a W-2 employee, not an independent contractor. However, you’re not an employee of Eaze, but of a staffing company that provides the drivers for Eaze. You can set your availability, but you’re given shifts to deliver during the days on which you indicate availability.
In addition to base pay, with Eaze, you are also reimbursed for mileage (current IRS mileage rates) and you get to keep 100% of your tips.
As a driver for Eaze, you’ll pick up from the local dispensary and deliver to the customers. You might handle cash transactions, so keep that in mind when signing up.
What is WeedMaps?
WeedMaps is self-explanatory: It’s a website that shows you where you can find weed on a map near you.
Here it shows the Minneapolis area and where you can find storefronts that sell medical marijuana.
You can even find nearby medical marijuana doctors if you need marijuana for a medical condition.
To find what you’re looking for, enter a location in the search and choose what options interest you most—curbside pickup, delivery, CBD stores, etc. If there’s nothing available in your area, the map will simply be blank.
What Kind of Cannabis Products Can I Get?
Basically, the sky’s the limit. But the real limit is dependent on what is legal in your area and what delivery services and dispensaries have available in your area. The best way to find out what products you can get is to go online and see what’s available for you.
In general, you can probably expect to find flowers, edibles, CBD products and other more popular and well-known products. If you want something specialized, it might take some deeper digging to find it.
Summary
Delivery services are awesome and can help save you time and energy. There are some great options out there for weed delivery services and apps that can allow you to customize your weed to what you want it for and help you find where it can be purchased.
Do you have a go-to weed delivery service? Do you live in a state that has legalized marijuana?
